A stamp-card loyalty programme for events: how it works and what it costs
A stamp card that rewards repeat attendance, with rewards you set and a card that lives in Apple Wallet. These are the decisions to make before you launch it.
Short answer
A loyalty card gives a customer a reason to come back and finish it. You decide three things: when a stamp is earned, how many stamps each reward costs, and which events count. The system does the rest: a card per customer, stamps recorded automatically, and a reward that becomes a coupon they use at checkout.
When a stamp is earned
When the ticket is scanned at the gate: the better choice, because a stamp then means real attendance. Or at purchase: suitable for events with no scanning. Pick one per programme so a stamp is not counted twice.
The reward ladder
One reward is issued automatically when the card is full. More than one reward means the customer decides when to spend, saving up for the bigger one, which is what drives repeat visits. Reward types: a free ticket, a percentage off, an amount off, or an in-kind gift.
Choose the events
Not every event of yours deserves to count. Pick the events that earn stamps and, for each reward, the events it can be used on, so a free ticket does not get spent on an expensive event you did not intend.
The Apple Wallet pass
The card is added to Apple Wallet and updates itself whenever a stamp is added, with a lock-screen notification. The stamp strip takes the organiser's colours if you switch on event-page branding. On Android the card stays inside the app.
What it costs
Loyalty is an annual subscription separate from your package, switched on by paying for it. Stamps expire after the period you set, and rewards already issued stay valid after your subscription ends.
Frequently asked
Does the customer need an app?
They see their card in the Njadwil app or on the web page, and add it to Apple Wallet if they want.
What if a ticket is refunded after earning a stamp?
The stamp that ticket earned is removed, so stamps cannot be farmed by buying and refunding.
Can I stop cheap tickets earning stamps?
Yes, by setting a minimum ticket price that counts.
